In november 2007, Fitch Ratings recognized the quality of UFG Alteram’s investment process, awarding UFG Alteram its IP2 Investment Process Rating.
This rating upgrade is justified by the continuous progress in the investment and hedge fund selection process, as well as the degree of integration and flexibility the IT platform has reached.
The rating generally reflects the high quality of the legal and operational due diligence procedures and the company's strengthened investment risk management.
Furthermore, Fitch has considered the six-year track record of the firm within its industry and, in parallel, the adequate level of human resources and experience.

This rating reflects primarily the discipline of the investment and hedge fund picking processes, the quality of the administrative due diligence process and the performance of the investment management tool. Moreover, this rating also takes into account the strengthening of market risk monitoring, the investment teams’ level of expertise and UFG Alteram’s commitment on human resources.
